Our training vessel, a Beneteau First 405, provides comfort and safety for students, and is fully compliant with the safety code for commercial operation (60 file from safe haven). Rainbow Seeker is berthed at Swansea Marina giving access the attractive cruising and training area of the Bristol Channel, Celtic Sea and Southern Ireland. The ports and harbours of South Wales and the North Devon coast provide challenging training opportunities, from the quiet secluded bays of the Gower peninsular to the commercial ports of Milford Haven, Cardiff and Bristol. Also likely to be visited are Tenby, Ilfracombe, Clovelly, Watchet, Minehead, Barry and Portishead and the islands of Caldy, Lundy, Steepholm and Flatholm.
Bristol Channel Yacht Training is the training arm of Chepstow and District Yacht Club. Our aim is to offer cost effective training to the aspiring sailor and yachtsman. The charges for all our courses include membership of the club for the current year, which at your choice may be continued for subsequent years.
