Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Shorebased Theory This course develops the knowledge and skills acquired in the Day Skipper course, enabling yachtsmen and power boaters to undertake more complex passages including both offshore and overnight. It covers advanced navigation techniques including position fixing, course to steer, passage planning, Pilotage, meteorology, collision regulations, stability and bouyage.
The course is available over the winter but can be arranged, subject to demand at any time.
